We visited Sicily last year and often found ourselves surrounded by lemons -- in groves we'd pass on sun-drenched walks around Siracusa, on fabrics sold in shops and open-air markets, and on small trees planted in pots at restaurants around the piazzas where we would people-watch at the end of the day. I painted these when we returned.
This piece was painted with premium-quality acrylic paint on a 10x10" canvas with a 1.5" edge. It arrives ready to hang or to stand on its own for display on a table. The edges of the piece are painted in the same colour as the background shown on the face of the painting.
