I love the romantic gloom of a cloudy day. 

I painted Before the Rain in premium acrylic paint on a 30x30" canvas with deep edges. The predominant colours in the piece are light blue and gray, and they tend to shift depending on the surrounding light. The piece is framed in a deep-edge, white float frame.
